Italian pizza is a beloved international dish that can easily be made at home, and this recipe provides enough dough to produce four 12-inch pizzas.
Combine flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Slowly incorporate crumbled yeast before slowly adding water. Either use an electric stand mixer or manually knead until dough forms – for best results either way is acceptable!

Preparation
Pizza is one of the world’s favorite foods, so getting it just right is essential. There are various stretches you can do to increase your flexibility. Dynamic stretching involves using momentum from your body or limb to force it beyond its normal range of motion, often used by athletes as part of their pregame preparation or race preparation routine, as it quickly warms up their muscles compared to traditional static stretching methods. Dynamic stretching does not usually hold its stretched position for too long; typically performed in short bursts.

Cooking
Pizzas are generally baked at very high temperatures in wood-fired ovens; at home, to replicate this process a pizza stone is often used to absorb heat and ensure an even crust. Additionally, this method creates the unique “fire kisses” around its edge, adding even more character and flavor. Alternatively, your pizza could also be finished under the broiler briefly for similar effects.
For optimal pizza results, use only high-quality ingredients. Frozen, canned and dried items often have lower quality standards which could alter the final result. Also avoid overloading your pizza with toppings as doing so could mask its original flavors as well as create soggy crusts.
As when making pizza dough, using different flour makes an enormous difference in terms of texture and taste. Italian pizza typically employs Tipo ’00’ flour – finely ground and high in gluten content – which gives the finished product its elastic properties. Hydration plays an essential part in its final form – increasing hydration will yield softer dough while decreasing it will lead to firmer crusts.
